Framework + Inspiration

We used the Kano model as the primary framework for our "excitement" team and found many sources of inspiration, including conveyor belt sushi and masonry grid feeds.

Process

Define vision

We defined the mission, design principles, prioritization process, key performance indicators (KPI's), conceptual framework, and opportunity areas.

Explore ideas

We generated concepts from anywhere and everywhere (team members, users, stakeholders, archives, other companies, imagination, etc.) and then normalized them for review. In order to rapidly evalutate more than a dozen ideas, we planned and directed a fun off-site with individuals from various teams.

Sketch, test, iterate, and build

Discovery led to two leading ideas. We used wire-frame prototypes for user testing, and iterated to finalize navigation, components, and the final look and feel.
